Linda Burns, 61, passed away September 23, 2010 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
Linda was born March 3, 1949 in Ottumwa, IA. She liked baking and decorating birthday cakes and attending her grandchildren’s baseball and softball games. Her favorite color was yellow, she enjoyed shooting pool and was a huge Elvis fan.
Linda is survived by her children, Tammy (Doug) White and Jerry (Jenny) Burns, Jr.; brothers Sonny (Michele) Burton, Rodger Burton and Steve Mannion; grandchildren, Adam Scarlett, Spencer White, Tyler White, Natalie Burns and Katelyn Burns; and her former spouse, Jerry Burns, Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mike Mannion.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
