Steve J. Christian

Steve J. Christian, 60, passed away September 21, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center.

Steve was born July 28, 1950 in Waterloo, IA. He was raised by his uncle and aunt, Vincent and Frances Boots. He was the owner of Glass Mechanics. Steve was a member of Capitol Moose Lodge and Pleasant Hill Elks Lodge. He enjoyed performing magic, smoking meats and cooking, especially mastering the art of “pie making”.

Steve is survived by his son, Steven “Tyler” Christian; his son’s mother, Peggy Christian-Reelitz; and aunt, Frances Boots. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Vincent Boots.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 24, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Pleasant Hill.
