Frances Latimer

Frances L. Latimer, 80, died Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Dan Shields of Johnston; her grandsons, Mark Shields and Eric (Jennifer) Shields. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth B. Latimer and her son, Steven A. Latimer.
Frances loved her family, antiques, and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Visitation will be held at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2007. A memorial service will be held at Mill Pond Retirement Community (1201 SE Millpond Ct. in Ankeny) at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2007. Following the service, her ashes will be interred at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday in Newton Union Cemetery in Newton, Iowa.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice – Johnston or to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
