Dick Thorn

Dick Lee Thorn, 67, passed away September 17, 2010 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. He was born March 20, 1943.

Dick is survived by his wife of 48 years, Deanna Lea Thorn; sons, Mark Lee (Susan) Thorn and Mitch Lee (Katy) Thorn; daughter, Darcy Lea Thorn; brother, Howard (Deb) Thorn; and grandchildren, David Lee Thorn, Breanna Lea Thorn, Catherine Lea Hoffman, Blake Lee Thorn, Jaylin Lee Thorn, Shayla Lea Thorn and Dani Olson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rolland and Eva Thorn; sister, Betty Benson; and his son, Monty Lee Thorn.

The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, to celebrate Dick’s life.
