Kaye Robinson, 64, passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2010 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center. She was born on April 14, 1946 in Lee Township.
Kaye was an active member of her church, Lee Town Assembly, and worked with the Food Bank, Walden Point Outreach Ministries, Bethel Mission Outreach Ministries and Fort Des Moines and Women’s Prison Ministries as well as feeding the homeless and doing volunteer hospital visits.
She is survived by her children Kris (Patty), Kirk (Michele) and Kim; her grandchildren Kodi, Kenzie, Tanner, Chase and Kyle; her brothers Con, Larry and Nick and her sisters Jackie and Lucy. Kaye was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ann and Pooch; and brother, Don.
Funeral services will be Thursday September 16, 2010 at Lee Town Assembly, 2720 State Ave at 11:00 a.m. with burial following at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00–9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Kaye.

I went to high school with Kaye and we had some good times together. Met up with her later in life when we both attended Berean. I know how much she loved her family and how much they will miss her. It is nice to know that we will see her again one day. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
