Service Details
Lance Higby, 50, passed away at his home Friday, September 10, 2010. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, September 17, 2010 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
Hamilton’s Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Lance and I went to school together and used to hang out back in the early 70s..He used to live down the alley from me or his brother did..We always Got along and like enjoying the same music together..We had parted ways through the years and I recall contacting him a few years back and how we talked of getting together for ol times sake but it never happened..This is shocking to lose an ol chum..My deepest sympathy goes out to family and other friends..You will be missed Lance..

I am very sorry to hear the news about Lance. I will be out of town until Friday. If I have to miss any services this is why. Lance was one of the best freinds I ever had. No matter his personal disfunctions he was always upbeat, supportive and always fun and intelligent to talk to. He had an understand of people and life that few people had.
My most heartfelt expressions for his surviving family. I really feel the final measure of a man is: Will people be sad that you're gone or glad that you're gone. I know Lamce will be sorely missed by all of us.
