Pauline Shaffer

Pauline Shaffer, 93, died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Adel Acres Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Monday, March 19, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Pauline was born October 15, 1913 to Horace and Carolyn (Harris) Moore in Leon, IA. She was a retired secretary from the Des Moines School System.
Pauline is survived by her daughter, Gloryne (Chester) Ruby; six grandchildren,16 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. She also leaves one sister, Arlene (Al) Andersen and a lifetime companion, Fred Voital.
Preceding her in death was a son, Larry,her parents, three brothers and one sister.
