Raymond Schmunk

Raymond Schmunk, 88, died March 14, 2007 at Adel Acres Care Center in Adel, Iowa.
Ray was born July 28, 1918 in Mansfield, OH to Lloyd and Ella (Smith) Schmunk. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII from 1941 to 1945. He worked for the North Island Naval Air Station in San Diego as a supply clerk until his retirement in 1974. Ray enjoyed hunting squirrels and morel mushrooms.
Ray is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth; son, Gregory and daughter-in-law, Susan of Urbandale, IA; and his grandchildren, Jennefer and Christina.
