Carolyn Catron

Carolyn Catron, 67, died peacefully March 13, 2007 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 24, 1939 in Rock Island, IL.
Carolyn was a loving mother and enjoyed being a “day care grandma,” for her grandchildren. She lived every day for her children and grandchildren. Her favorite pastimes were shopping, gardening and landscaping. Carolyn especially enjoyed the holidays. She was a great caregiver to all who knew her.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
Carolyn is survived by her loving children, Kathy Matalone, Jerry (Joani) Matalone and Paula (Ken) Yarrington; sister, Jeanie (Terry) Reynolds; brother, Don (Sue) Brasch; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
