Pastor Michael Ray Winn

Pastor Michael Winn, 64, passed away August 25, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center.

Michael was born July 15, 1946 in Bevier, MO to Chester and June (Tuttle) Winn. He served in the U.S. Navy. Michael was a retired Pastor with Good News Ministries and was a member of Shalom Ministries. He enjoyed studying the Bible and spending time with his family.

Michael is survived by his sons, Aaron (Amanda) Winn, Adam (Susan) Winn and Dan (Amanda) Winn; sister, Donna (Tim) Hoskinson; brother, Randy (Stephanie) Winn; and nine grandchildren: Bryan, Mikayla, Brandon, Caleb, Danielle, Alexandria, Jonathan, Jeremiah and Job. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 at Indianola First Assembly of God Church, 1700 W. 2nd Avenue in Indianola, followed by burial at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
