Paul “Fred” Loney, II, 64, passed away August 16, 2010 at the Altoona Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born October 17, 1945 in Des Moines to Paul and Maxyne (Rehard) Loney.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Following the visitation, Fred’s body will be cremated and a private family burial will take place at a later date.
Fred is survived by his mother, Maxyne; sisters, Susan (Randy) Snyder and Lori Stegink; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul and his brother, Richard.
Memorial contributions may be made to Easter Seals Iowa.

My deepest sympathies for your loss. I grew up a block away - was friends with & a classmate of Lori's. I watched Fred walk past our house everyday to get on the bus - he was always so nice and friendly. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
