Nancy Wood

Nancy Ellen Wood, 56, passed away Monday, March 12 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Nancy was born February 5, 1951 in Des Moines to Joyce and Earl Hills. She worked as a In House care provider for more then 20 years. Nancy lived in Des Moines for her whole life. She loved spending time and taking care of her family.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Garry, her son, Jack Gerlach, her daughter, Dana Gerlach, her two grandchildren, David and Makayla, her father, Earl Hills and her brother, George Hills. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Hills and her brother, Ernie Hills.
