Jessica Nichole Webb, 16, passed away August 11, 2010.
Jessie was born February 21, 1994 in Topeka, KS. She was a student at Southeast Polk High School. Jessie enjoyed listening to music, going to movies, hanging out with her friends and she loved her dog Lucy.
Jessie is survived by her mother, Wendy Webb; father, Doug Webb; half-brothers, Tom and Danny Webb; grandparents, Bill and Sharon Young and Jack Webb; and many other extended relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Grace Church, 4200 E. 25th Street. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League in loving memory of Jessie.

Wendy, I don't even know what to say. I heard about this tragic accident, but it wasn't until I read today's Sunday paper that I realized it was your daughter. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

To the parents and family of Jessica;
My heart breaks for all of you. It sounds like she was a great person who loved to have fun and had many friends.
Please ignore all the criticism you may hear. I'm sure you were good parents who were raising a typical teenager who loved to be with her friends.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Remember all the good times you had with Jessica and concentrate on them. God lent you a wonderful child to enjoy for awhile, but I guess He wanted her back too soon.

No words can be said to console your broken hearts. Jessie will remain in your heart and memories forever. I pray that God will comfort you, hold you up, and give you his hope through the difficult days ahead. I do not know your family, but just had to express my deepest sympathy as we lost our son in May to a tragic auto accident. It is the most terrible thing a parent can ever experience and my heart hurts for you so much. You will keep her smile and memories alive.
