Kathryn Hanner

Kathryn J. Hanner, 79, of Des Moines died on March 12, 2007 at the Hospice Kavanagh House on 56th. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Kathryn was retired as a supervisor for the State of Iowa Department of Revenue. She was also self employed in the restaurant business and was a member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority.
She is survived by her children Linda (Tim) Delger of Des Moines, Dennis (Jody) Hanner of Osage Beach, Missouri and Kathy (Ken) Mika of Indianola, her sister May Nellis of Des Moines, her grandchildren Chad and Chris Hanner, Shelley (Bougher) and Brent Delger and Ginelle (Petrie) and Lynnae Mika, her 4 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, her 3 brothers and 1 sister.
The family will greet friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
