Service Details
Lucille Morris, 83, died peacefully Sunday, August 8, 2010 at her home. Funeral service will be 2 pm Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Waukee Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Lucille is survived by her daughters: Marilyn (Donald) Bales of Des Moines, and Leslie (Bill) Andresen of Phoenix, AZ; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin; her brother, Leon Pray; and her granddaughter, Leslie Goodson.

Dear Family:
It was very sad to hear of Lucille's passing. We have truly lost a wonderful woman, mom, grandmother, and in our case Aunt. She was very gracious to us, loved her new great nephews, Robert and Michael, who are now four years old and two, who will in a few weeks be celebrating their birthdays. She loved telling family stories especially those of Mel. I always thought he was very close to her in spirit all these years and know without a doubt their marital reunion was very joyous when she returned home to Heaven. She tended and cared for her gardens here and I know that she will be tending to the flowers of Heaven. Until then. Much Love Aunt Lou. Diane, Larry, Robert and Michael Thacker.
