Margaret Nordholm

Margaret Nordholm, 83, of Des Moines died Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Iowa Methodist Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Grandview Lutheran Church; visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Tuesday evening at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. Burial will take place in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Margaret was born February 13, 1924 in Des Moines. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, Berwick Garden Club and VFW Auxiliary Post #9662. She enjoyed reading, needlework, traveling, being outdoors, and visiting with friends and family.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Karen and Susan Nordholm; her brothers, Harry (Shirlee) and Herbert (JoAnne) Burgess; her sister, Norma (Jack) Rynearson; her sister-in-laws, LeOra Peterson and Clarice Sigurdson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Vincent, and an infant son.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grandview Lutheran Church.
