Andrew S. Wallace, 54, was born February 26, 1956 in New York, NY and passed away August 6, 2010 at Kavanagh on 56th.
Andy is survived by his mother, Rosanna Wallace; father, Donald Wallace; brother, Donald (Therese) Wallace, II; sister, Cheryl Wallace; and his son, Matthew Basham.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by a service from 6 to 7 p.m. Burial will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Glendale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jon A. White Memorial Wildlife Habitat & Meditation Garden c/o West Bank.

Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers through this most difficult time. Although I have not seen Andy since we were very young, the thought of losing a cousin at such a young age brings feelings of hurt and loss. Imagining how much more difficult it is for those of you who knew him on a deeper level brings sorrow for your loss. To Don, Rosenna, Don, Therese, Matthew, and Cheryl go my deepest sympathies. What a good and loyal friend Andy was to me and to my late husband Jon White, his former brother-in-law and forever pal. He was kind-hearted and so very honest about his work and in his life, considerate and rather gentle. He struggled in his way (as do we all in our ways) with living life -- he was not a saint, yet a good man. Gone too soon in many regards and yet able to be peaceful in his passing -- and so it is. My loving thoughts go to family and other friends -- be gentle with each other in this time of loss.
