William "Bill" Brown

William “Bill” Brown, 57, passed at his home August 6, 2010, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Bill was born June 16, 1953 in Teaneck, New Jersey, the fourth of eleven children, and was raised in Montville, Maine. Bill served in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated Bill’s Yard and Home Improvement for the past 20 years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, hunting and kayaking.

Bill is survived by his wife of 36 years, Stacie; children, Jennifer (James) Sanger, Bill Brown II, and Kristi Brown; five beloved grandsons, Gavin, Riley, Jimmy, Justin and Chase; ten siblings; and many other extended relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harald and Anneliese.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in his family cemetery in Montville, Maine.
