Timothy Alexander Mason, 57, passed away August 1, 2010.
Tim was born August 18, 1952 in Kansas City, MO to Charles and Patricia Mason. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life: family, music, good food, and a good book.
Tim is survived by his wife, Rita; children, Candice, Amanda, Alexander, Samuel and Henry; mother, Patricia; brothers, Charles III (Cherry), Daniel, Patrick (Jennifer), Terence (ZhaoLin), James, Thomas, William (Kris), and Theodore (Laura) Mason; sisters, Margaret Mason and Mary Kate (Bart) Ewing. As a beloved member of his own and Rita’s families, he will be missed by many, many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Charles and his brother John.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, August 5, 2010 at St. Ambrose Cathedral, 607 High Street. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.

We were all saddened to hear of Tim's passing. May God bless all of you and may he welcome Tim to eternal happiness. I didn't get to know my cousin very well but I do know what a great family he has and that we are all better people for having each other in our lives. I hope you all find comfort during this time as I'm sure Tim did. Cherish the days that we share because apparently God knows how much better it is with the company of Scanlon's & Mason's.

My heartfelt sympathy to Rita and family in Tim's passing. I worked with Tim at Qwest for many years and always enjoyed hearing about his family growing up. He was always willing to help and had a great sense of humour. My prayers are with you all.
