Doris Briddell

Doris Briddell, 77 of West Des Moines, died Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the Ramsey Village. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in West Des Moines. Burial will take place in Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Monday, March 12, 2007 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, where a Rosary will be held at 7:30 P.M.
Doris was born October 9, 1929 North English, Iowa. She worked for Kurtz Hardware and Pittsburg Des Moines Steel Company as a receptionist. Doris loved to play the piano and was truly devoted to her family.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Vicki (John) Koons; her son, Vance Bridell; her sisters, Kathryn Agold and Cel Robison; her brothers, Albert “Speck” and Donald Simmons; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Lester.
