James "Jimmy" J. Fontanini

James Joseph Fontanini, 73, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Bishop Drumm Care Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday at Our Lady of Peace Chapel at Bishop Drumm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.

Jim was born November 10, 1936 in Des Moines to Aldo and Annie Fontanini. He proudly served his country in the US Army. Jim worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber. He loved being with his family and was an avid golfer.

Jim is survived by his wife, Beverley; his children, Teri Davies, Stefanie Sauble, James Fontanini Jr., and John Fontanini; his mother, Annie Fontanini; his brother, Ronald Fontanini; his sister, Mary Ann Yamen;
His five grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to either, Our Lady of Peace Chapel or Bishop Drumm and Mercy Hospice.
