Donna Frame

Donna was born in Grant, Nebraska in 1954, graduated from Grant High School in 1972, and married John Frame on November 30, 1974. They lived in Nebraska until 1993 when they moved to Iowa.

Blessed with a big and caring heart, Donna shared her life with everyone. An active member of Jordan Creek United Methodist Church, she also enjoyed nature, shopping, watching movies, playing piano, painting, crafts, art shows and reading. Donna also loved her family, especially her grandson, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

A hard worker, Donna was employed in the dental field for 35 years after years of working as a hairstylist. Though not fond of cooking, she prepared delicious meals for her family and friends.

Donna is survived by her husband, John; son, Jacob; daughter, Leslie; grandson, Carter; sister, Theresa and her brothers, John (Lydia), Allen (Carol) and Dennis (Jeanie). She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard and her parents. She remains in the hearts of all that knew her.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2010 at Jordan Creek United Methodist Church, 475 68th Street in West Des Moines. Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway is handling arrangements.
