Grace Bittner

Grace V. Bittner, 92, died Friday, July 30, 2010 at Taylor House Hospice. No services are currently planned. She was born February 18, 1918 in Missouri and was married to George E. Bittner.

Grace was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was a cook for various places throughout her life including the Des Moines International Airport, Ramada Inn, and Best Western. Her most recent and enjoyed position was as a greeter at Blank Park Zoo.

Grace is survived by her son, George L. Bittner; grandchildren, George D. (Heather) Bittner and Pam (Doug) Faltonson; and four great-grandchildren.
