Bob Lee McConnell

Bob McConnell, 66, was born November 29, 1943 in Glendale, CA and he died July 28, 2010 at his home in Norwalk. He was born to Beatrice and Marcel McConnell.

Bob enjoyed a long successful career with Sears; he enjoyed restoring old cars, especially Corvettes. He loved nature, watching sunsets with Judy; gardening, landscaping, planting trees; working with his hands and do-it-yourself projects. He had a gentle, loving servant’s heart and particularly loved investing his life into his family, friends and church. He was a strong character role model for others; and his fingerprints remain forever on all he touched.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Judy McConnell, his daughter, Amberly Reynolds of Suffolk, VA; his son, Gentry McConnell of Middlebury, IN; his son-in-law, Rev. Glenn Reynolds, daughter-in-law Kelly McConnell, five beautiful grandchildren; his brother Pat McConnell of Lucas, Texas, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Patsy Foster.

Memorial Services will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Christian Life Assembly Church.
