Geneva "G.G." Eveland-Allison

G.G. was born in Des Moines, Iowa on August 19, 1932. She passed away July 19, 2010 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

G.G. married Russell W. Allison on November 5, 1954. She retired from J.C. Penney’s.

G.G. is survived by her husband of 55 years, Russell; mother, Bessie Eveland; sons, Bill (Deb) Allison of Des Moines and Randy (Angi) Allison of Earlham; daughter, Carolyn Allison of Polk City; brothers, Richard and Jerry Eveland; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Eveland and her father, Leonard Eveland.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
