Carl Rupe Sr. died July 17, 2010 at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines. Cremation has occurred and burial with military honors will be at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

He is survived by his 7 children and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and a sister.

Hamilton’s Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
