Roger Eugene Webb, a man who loved his family and country, died July 15, 2010. He was a WWII veteran and a true conservationist who enjoyed hunting, fishing and the great “outdoors”. He was a proud member of the N.R.A.
His three daughters, Kristine Franquemont, Katherine (Ed) Lane and Amy (John) Reilly; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren are his legacy.
A graveside service will be held at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the National Rifle Association, 11250 Waples Mill Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030 or to the Animal Rescue League, 5452 N.E. 22nd St., Des Moines, IA 50313. Condolences may be made at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com.

I want to extend my condolences to the daughters and grandchildren of Roger Webb. I came to know him in the Des Moines Rifle and Revolver club and at gun shows. We are both veterans of WWII and I want to thank you for honoring his military service. It is very fitting that he will be overlooking the DMR&RC range there at the Iowa Veterans Cemetary at Van Meter Iowa. May God sustain you in your grief. Robert Andersen.
