Clinton James Graham, Sr., 89, passed away July 14, 2010 at Taylor House Hospice.
Clinton was born December 18, 1920 in Stanley, North Dakota. He served in the Army Air Corp. during WWII and worked at John Deere Ankeny Works until his retirement in 1982.
Clinton is survived by his children, Judy Bradley, Clinton (Jann) Graham, Jr., Floyd (Teresa) Graham and Anne (Richard) Bainter; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Helen.
The family will greet friends beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. followed by a graveside service at 12 p.m. Saturday at Jordan Cemetery in West Des Moines.

Clint and Jann,
I and my family hold your family in our hearts and memories. We are saddened to hear of your Dad's death, as we know it has saddened you. Please accept our sympathies in friendship and love.
My own Dad is also 89 (90 in Oct) and though he insists he will live to 100, he is frail and sometimes forgetful, and showing signs that 100 might be a tad over-reaching. We do not look forward to the day we have to say goodby, but he and we know someday we must.
I vae re-married-Greg Helle_ and we now have a townhome on the other side of Johnston, just off Hwy 141. If you ever want to talk or go for lunch, Jann, call 986-0940 or 867-4954 (c). I have missed you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. We wish we could be with you during your time of grief. I can remember all the fun times we had together growing up. Spending time with Uncle Clinton boating, staying overnight and going on impromtu picnics. Our prayers are with the family.

When I think of Mr. Graham, I think of him in his bib overalls and his hat. He usually was walking his dog down the sidewalk. That is the image that will remain with us. He was a kindly man and yet feisty too, but always fun to talk to and get to laugh. Bless you all in the days ahead. Take Care. Our sympathy goes out to you and yours.
