Annette Coleen Lynch, 47, of Des Moines, Iowa passed from this life to the next surrounded by her family on Wednesday, July 14, 2010.
She was born to Eula and Delbert Lynch in Des Moines, IA. She had been employed for fifteen years by the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, karaoke, watching movies, good restaurants and cooking. She also loved her little dog, Deva.
Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Annette is survived by three sisters, DeAnna (Alan) Beck of Indianola, Dr. Gaylene Lynch (Healy) Burnham and Carol Sue “Susie” (Greg) Schaaf of Des Moines; nephews, Michael Lepley, Warren (Virginia) Burnham, Chris Beck, James Schaaf, Timothy Burnham and Nick Schaaf; nieces, Jessica (Justin) Eginoire, Katie (Shawn) Hentges, Dr. Sara Burnham and Abby Schaaf; great-nieces and great-nephews, Mikayla, Joshua and Emily Lepley, Joey and Jacklyn Eginoire and Zackary and Quinn Hentges; plus many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Animal Rescue League in Annette’s memory.
Annette’s passing leaves a void in the family circle that can never be filled.

Oh Gaylene! I am so sorry I did not learn of your sister's death until after the services. I would have tried to get to the visitation to give you a big hug. Please let your whole family know how sorry I am for their pain.

To Annette's family.
I was shocked to read that Annette had passed away. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Annette was a good friend to me for many years & we had a lot of laughs together. She was someone that you could sit & talk to for hours. Years have passed since I have talked to her, but I will always remember her as a sweet & caring person.

Annette was such a lovely person -- sweet, kind, cheerful and always fun to talk to. Although I never had the pleasure to meet her in person, she always put a smile on my face whenever we spoke on the phone. She will be missed greatly by everyone that knew her. May GOD bless Annette and reunite her with her family in heaven.

God saw that she was getting tired and a cure was not to be,
so He put His arms around her & whispered"come with me"
With tearful eyes we watched her suffer and saw her fade away,
although we loved her dearly, we could not make her stay.
A loving heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to show us,,,
He only takes the best.

Words can't really describe the emotion you feel when a loved one passes away. My aunt Annette was a special person to many people. She brought a smile to the faces of strangers everyday for years and she was always happy for you if you had good news.
The day Annette got put in the hospital, I teased her and said, 'geesh, Annette...could you get better, I'd really like someone to scratch my back.' She didn't even pause she said, 'sure, turn around.' That just makes me smile...I always loved having my back scratched and she would just sit there and scratch forEVER.
Our pain over losing you won't go away, Annette...but I know that it will get easier to live with everyday...and I hope you know how very very much you meant to all of us.

Annette was such a sweetie. I remember that bright red hair and
her running around the house when I stayed over nite with DeAnna.
I am sure there is special place in heaven for her.
