Linda Cornell

Linda, 71, died Friday, July 23, 2010 at Sunnybrook Care Center in Adel. She was born July 25, 1938 in Leon, IA to Iola and Frank Lewis.

She loved spending time with her family and anything to do with racing. She enjoyed crocheting, birds, and music.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Woodard; daughter-in-law, Janet Woodard; her parents; and a brother, Jerrell Lewis.

Linda is survived by her son, Ronald (Mary) Woodard; daughters, Deborah (Jeff) Wall and Katherine (Rodney) Larimer; sister, Marilyn (Richard) Engle; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 26, 2010 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines. A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 30, 2010 at Decatur City Cemetery in Decatur, Iowa.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa in loving memory of Linda.
