Carolyn Mae Beck

Carolyn Mae Beck, 54, was born October 20, 1955 in Leon, IA to Willis and Treva Stanford. She went to heaven on June 25, 2010 at Taylor House Hospice after her battle with cancer.

Carolyn was self employed. She enjoyed Karaoke, spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Carolyn loved the State Fair East Side Night and was a TRUE East Sider.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Kenny Beck; daughters, Jennifer (Trent) Good, Lindsie (Kris) Anderson and Kenli Beck; step-children, Marne Krause and Tony Beck; grandchildren, Ashlynn, Colten, Madeline, Logan, Addison, Joey, Cali, C.J., Hannah, and Jackson; mother, Treva Stanford; brothers, Steve (Roberta) Stanford and David (Lynda) Stanford; sisters, Jan Stanford, Janet Chiles (Steve Clark) and Lisa (Dave) Poling; brothers-in-law, Brian (Bonnie) Beck and Jimmy (Phylis) Beck; sisters-in-law, Mary Ryan, Candy Beck, Debbie (Dave) Rossi and Betty (Ronnie) Proctor; 28 nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Willis Stanford.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
