Bernard VanDoorn, 88, died Sunday, June 20, 2010 at the Perry Lutheran Home in Perry, Iowa. He was born December 24, 1921 to Henrietta and John VanDoorn.
Bernard is survived by his son, Nick (Yvonne) VanDoorn; grandsons, Aaron and Brad VanDoorn; and a sister-in-law, JoAnne VanDoorn.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines with burial at Lincoln Cemetery in Granger, Iowa. Friends may visit with family from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the funeral home.
