My deepest sympathies to the family. I remember Darla would watch me after school on the days when my mom wasn't home yet. I always felt comfortable and taken care of with her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sincerely, Sandy (KK)

Darla was one of the kindest souls we knew. She was patient and always made you feel like you were special. Her passing was very sad, and there is no doubt in our minds that she is now an angel because she sure had a lot of experience being the part here on earth. Our sympathies go out to you all -- her beautiful and loved family!

Darla was a very special lady..I lived across the street from her 16 years. She was always so nice and kind...she was someone you could depend on if you needed a favor..I have seen her from time to time on visits back to DM..she was always so gracious even if I stopped by to see her at work...Just want to let Kristi, Jeff and Trevor and family.. you are in my Prayers..may God Bless you all ....Sandy

I met Darla while working at Hyvee Floral and we became good friends just talking about anything and everything. I always looked forward to her smile and fun personality. I'm going to miss seeing her in Hyvee and talking to her. She was a very special lady and will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. My heart goes out to you and your families.
