So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I just heard about it from a buddy here in Ohio. I always had fun being around Bill. He and Ron Garrington introduced me to trail riding. Funny how he and Ron could go through trees and I would smash knuckles, flip over the bars. Bill and Ron would just laugh and laugh. He finally sold me a pair of narrow handlebars so I could keep up with him and Ron. I enjoyed the many rides to enduro races talking about many things. He did have a dry sense of humor. I enjoyed hanging at the shop talking about a million subjects. He would entertain those riders coming into the shop. They wouldn't quite know how to take Bill and he and I would have a laugh when they left. When I would see him at Deere we would always talk.
I know today is the day, right now, that Bill is having his service. I won't say goodbye but say Bill, I always think of you and the times we had shared. Those times we shared were enjoyable and are meant to be thought of for a long time.
May peace come to those you left behind and to family members.
God's speed Bill. I bet you went WFO right to the gates of heaven and jumped them.
Thinking of you,
Tom McDonald

We send our deepest condolences to the family. May God bless and keep you always. Bill was a great friend and mentor to me and I will miss his jokes, blunt conversation, and love of the outdoors. No one could stir up discussion and get things done like Bill.
