Virgil Clark

Virgil Leroy Clark 72, died March 4, 2007 at the Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House in Des Moines following a courageous battle with cancer. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all the staff of the Hospice Taylor House for the great care they shared.
Virgil Clark was born November 25, 1934 in rural Clarke County, IA to Ray and Lucille Clark. He graduated from Martensdale High School in 1954. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Za-Ga-Zig Shrine. Virgil enjoyed close friends, Nascar racing, hunting and tinkering.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Lucille Clark and his sister Audrey Sirdoreus. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Virgil’s memory to the Virgil Clark Memorial Fund.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Friday, March 9th at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Friday. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
