Shirley Carter

Shirley Carter, 69, of Des Moines passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at the Taylor House in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, November 3 at Hamilton’s near Highland Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave. in Des Moines. Burial at Bondurant Cemetery. Visitation Thursday from 6 to 8 at the Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the Taylor House.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Fred Carter; Sons, Bill (Jennie) Armstrong and Adrian (Melissa) Carter; Daughters, Carolyn (David) Byrkett and Kathy Sutton; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey.
