Service Details
Delila Jane Chandler, 53, of West Des Moines, passed away peacefully June 7, 2010, at Mercy Hospital. She was born April 20, 1957, to Jack Rinard and Virginia (Payne) Rinard.
A celebration of her life will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, June 10, at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Cremation will follow the service.
Delila loved being with family and friends, as well as her beloved dogs Prince, Princess, and Audrey. She enjoyed knitting and collecting Blenko glassware.
Delila is survived by her loving husband of nearly 35 years, Mark Chandler; her two sons, Christopher Chandler and Jackson Chandler; her mother Virginia Rinard; her sister Kathy (Mitch) Sloan-Pendleton; her nephew, David (Kandi) Sloan; her great-nephew, Gabriel Sloan; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Rinard.
Memorial donations in her honor may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.

My dearest cousin Delila,
Words cannot express the sadness I feel in my heart that you are gone from us now. I regret that I wasn't around more often to share in family events and enjoy your company and hear that wonderful laugh of yours. I am so glad I was able to spend the afternoon with our family by your side the other day. I'm not sure if you knew I was there, but I'm sure you knew that there was never a time when someone wasn't holding your hand and telling you they love you. You'll be in our hearts and minds always.

I met Jackson at qwest and I adored him and he had so much love for his mom! I recently lost my dad and I know that there isn't anything that can be said! just know ur fam and friends are here and remember the good times! My thoughts amnd prayers are with yall!
