Bill Watt, 64, passed away June 6, 2010 at Mercy Hospital in Sioux City, IA.
Bill was born December 31, 1945 in Kansas City, MO to William and Nettie Watt. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Nationwide Insurance. Bill was a 32nd Degree Mason and an active member of AA, having been sober 27 years.
Bill is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Ann Brown, Bill K. Watt, Jr., Will Segerstrom and Christen Segerstrom; grandchildren, Philicia and Aurora; sisters, Barbara Watt-Lightfoot, Jane Watt-Davis and Peg Watt-Montgomery; and many other extended relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; nephews, Kenneth and Daniel Lightfoot; and niece, Sue Ann Dougall.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 13, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m., with a memorial service at 4 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Y Camp Scholarship Fund in Boone, Iowa.

Over the years it has always been a pleasure to visit with Bill. We will truly miss his smile and his kind personality. Our sympathetic thoughts go out to your family.

My heart goes out to your family at this time. I knew and worked with Bill during our employment at Nationwide Insurance. We enjoyed working together in the IT department at both locations, Fleur Drive and Downtown.
I remember the times when we would just sit and talk about Life, family and of course work. He will be missed by all.
