Service Details
Wilma Allen, 98, died Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Genesis Senior Living Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday, June 8th at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Wallace Cemetery in Wick, IA. A visitation will be from 12-2 PM prior to the service on Tuesday.
Wilma graduated from Martinsdale High School where
she was captain of the basketball team. Wilma was a homemaker and her greatest joy was her family.
Wilma is survived by her children, Edward (Peg) Allen, Isobel (Ben) Bingaman, Arlene (Jack) Mohler, Sandra (Orin) Grumbrill, Judy (Jim) Greenwell, Bill Allen; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil and one grandchild, Monty Mohler.
