Thelma Eaton

Thelma Lorraine Eaton, 80, passed away March 3 at The Shores of Pleasant Hill. Graveside services will be held at 10 am Tuesday at Masonic Cemetery. Visitation is from 6pm to 8pm Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
Thelma was born June 29, 1926 in Albia to Ida Mae (Wilkinson) and Joseph Angel. She graduated from Roosevelt High School. Thelma worked for the Teamster’s Union and for the City of Des Moines in the Parks Department as a clerical worker. She loved being with her family. She enjoyed playing cards, cooking and doing cake decorating.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband Glen Eaton. She is survived by her children, Larry (Kathleen) Eaton of Johnston and Connie (Lyman “Butch”) Michael of Des Moines;7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
