Cinda Lou Motis, 62, was born December 26, 1947 in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Lyle and Helen (Leiss) Froh. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center.
Cinda is survived by her children, Kristin (Allan) Barclay, Lyndsay (Joe) Vander Werf and Brian (Lydia Fell) Motis; grandchildren, Wade, Jacob, Emma, Lucas, Colton, Hayden, Brenna, Austin, Stella and Ellie; siblings, Katherine (D.J.) Muse, Conrad Froh, Charlene (Shane) Jones, Curtis (Tami) Froh and Lila (Denis) Heatherington; brother-in-law, Marlon Fisher and 19 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Fisher and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2010 at Altoona United Methodist Church, 602 5th Avenue SW, with burial to follow at Altoona Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the church. Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be directed towards the family for a memorial planting in loving memory of Cinda.

I love Cinda and her sisters. I will miss having her when the group gets together. But I know that her children and grandchildren will feel a bigger loss. She and I were survivors together. Keeping you all close in my thoughts.

To the family of Cinda Motis,
I send my sympathy to you as one who know and loved Cinda. I attended school with Cinda, abd was confirmed with her and Judy at the E.U.B. church in Fort Dodge,IA. I also lived with her and Judy in Des Moines.
You have my deepest sympathy. Cinda will be missed ~ the world will be a little less bright due to her leaving us. I pray that she is now in our Lord Jesus Christ's presence, and we will see her again in Eternity.

Kristin, Lyndsay, Brian and all...your mom/grandma has been in my heart and my life since we first met in 7th grade. I can't imagine your lives without her and I, too, will miss her beyond words.
