My heart is with Brenna, October, the rest of the Gray family and of course,
his brothers in Slipknot.
Although I do not personally knew Paul, he was one of the biggest inspirations in my life along with the rest of Slipknot.
Slipknot it's not just a band for me, it's a way of life! and now a little piece of my life has gone.. I'm completely heartbroken.
I do not know what else to say..
Paul rest in peace, you deserve it.
I love you and I'll miss you, I guess we'll meet up there buddy!

There is so much I want to say but will try and keep it short.
As many, many others have said, you have been such an inspiration to me and you shall be greatly missed throughout the world over.
Your work ethic, music, live performance and much more inspired me to become a musician and that plays such an important part in my life that I cannot thank you enough.
I only had the pleasure of meeting you once, but it became very clear to me in that short time how much of an incredible person you are. You seemed very humble, down to earth and quite happy to talk with fans which is not so commonplace within alot of the 'bigger' bands today. This is what made me feel not just a fan, but something a whole lot more... part of a family.
My condolences go out to Brenna, Tony, the Slipknot guys and the rest of Pauls family.
You made the world a better place and your legacy will live on forever.
Gone but NEVER forgotten.
Much love,
Charley

My condolences go out to Brenna, and everyone else whose life was forever touched by Paul. On the few occasion that I got the privilege to spend time with Paul, he always treated everyone like they were a part of the family, and made everyone feel like they belonged. I'll always remember how down to earth and caring he was. In 2004 Slipknot kicked off a US tour in Orlando,FL, I got to work on there FL dates. The day before the show a friend of mine informed me of his mothers passing, and how he still wanted to go being that tickets to the show was the last gift his mother had given him. All the guys treated him great, but Paul was really concerned about him, and wanted to make sure he had the best time he could possibly have, to try to make feel better. I'll never forget that. Miss you Paul, you were truly one of a kind.

Many many sympathies to Brenna and October, Tony, The 8 and all of my fellow maggots. Know brenna, should you read this, that your suffering is no doubt great, but you are not alone in it. The vast fan base that your husband garnered, myself included, shall always remember Paul as the great man that he was.

I'm sorry for your pain and for your loss. I love Slipknot, I am thankful I got to see them in Des Moines at the Wells Fargo Arena. It was the first and only time I've seen them play.
I'm very sad Paul is gone.
