Family and friends of Paul Gray,
I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I cried when he died too, I really love SLIPKNOT and it ain't the same without Paul Gray. I know you hear about this alot but I really am sorry and know how you feel. He was a good man, kind, caring, and artist. He loved and cared about you alot from what i saw in his interviews. I really didn't knw him but, I wish i did. People think I'm weird because i love SLIPKNOT and they think girls shouldn't but i don't care. Alot of people almost died by hearing about your husband/dad/friend/brother's death at school and everybody misses him. It must be hard for you and your daughter and i'm seriously sorry. I wish you the best for you and your family.
My Condolences and Sincerely,
A major fan, Breanna.

I know its been a while since Paul's death but it seems like only yesterday. I am still grieving over such a wonderful life that left us too soon. To Brenna, Tony, and the rest of Paul's family and extended family{Sid,Joey,Chris,James,Craig,Shawn,Mick,Corey} I give my deepest condolences. I will forever miss Paul, he was a peaceful soul and he gave the best bear hugs. I am inspired by the music that he made by himself or with slipknot. The world does seem more lonely without Paul but I know that I will see him again someday. I love u Paul and may u find peace. I love you forever and always and for eternity.

Paul Gray, I have never known you personally. I, however, wish that I had known you, because from what it seems, you were a great person. I wish I could write something, but I'm completely thoughtless. I don't know what to write, Paul. R.I.P. Paul. I hope you are happy with your life, wherever you are. I honestly do.

Although I did not know Paul Gray, Slipknot has been with me and my daughter since 1999. I listen to them almost everyday, to get through some very tough times in life, and to just have a great day. I have been to many concerts and Slipknot has never once disappointed. They have and always will be among the VERY BEST. Sweat and Blood have been put into each show. I have always been a lover of the bass and sadly the loss of Paul has shaken me and my family also. Slipknot and Paul will never be forgotten. I can only hope that Mrs. Gray, their daughter October, their family, friends, and all the brothers of Slipknot will know that we all offer our deepest sympathy for the loss of Paul. Lost, but never forgotten. Their are no words that can ease their pain. I can only hope for strength to carry on. May you forever rest in peace Mr. Paul Gray...

Hi all,
My condolences to the Gray family and to the loss of a great person and musician who the whole world is going to sadly miss.
His work will always carry on through Slipknot and the fans that made him what he was. I myself have cried and shed tears along with I don't know how many others over his passing, an I hope the gray family and Slipknot can both find the strength to carry on and wish them all the best in the future.
Thanks Paul... youve helped me through alot of the hard times in my life with music, and for that i forever thank you. Will always remember who you are...
Regards
Scott

This seems like the Kurt Cobain of the 21st century. He wasn't only a good musician. But from what I saw he was a nice and decent guy. It's heartbreaking. His death really got to me.

Man, what do you say here? We are fans from Pa. We were fortunate to see the band for the first time in Burkettstown at the metal mayhem fest in 2008. We didn't really have the funds but you live once. I am a musician, therefore every time I hear of a member of a band passing, I truly feel I have lost a relative. We are huge fans of the band. When Dime passed I lost a brother, I got the news & I dropped the phone & cried. At this point, with Paul, we are still in shock. She called me at work to tell me & my chin dropped. She was holding back tears I could hear it. I have a lot of respect for each member of this band. Paul got my attention when he said he had never played bass, he just said he did, lol. He also said he's not that great at it. But hey man you lived a dream, guys like me only dream of. I play guitar, I'm not that good either, but did make it in a band for 2 yrs. Still not that good either, not one lesson in my life. But, something Paul said in that interview that reminded him of me, he did it for the music! Which is the same reason I play. I love my music, my genre. The guys in my band were so bent on getting that damn contract! I love to play! I could be in a bar band the rest of my life & work 9-5 weekly & be happy. I believe Paul was the same, as long as I'm playing & making ppl happy, I could care less about a contract or label. Paul, my brother in musicianship, we raise our horns up to you, have a Blacktooth Grin with Dime & shredd the after life! We love you man, rock on! (horns)
