Amy L. Waddill, R.N., CRNI went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Mercy Hospital.
Amy was born January 1, 1969 to Ken and Ivetta Waddill. In 1989, she became a Registered Nurse and became a member of the Intravenous Nurse’s Society in 1999. She received numerous achievement awards for success in her profession. Amy’s final display of dedication to helping others was in that of giving the gift of life through organ donation.
Amy is survived by her parents, Ken and Ivetta Waddill; siblings, Barry Waddill and Mindy Waddill-Langford; and nieces and nephews, Delaney and Devin Waddill and Kelsie, Madyson, and Kyler Langford.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday at First Federated Church, Franklin Hall, South entrance, 4801 Franklin Avenue. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010 at the same location with burial at Colfax Cemetery.
Memorial contributions will be received by the family.

Ivetta & Family,
I am so very sad to hear of Amy's death...I, too, am an R.N. (44 yrs.)
so this is really hard for me to hear. Was this from complications
from the Transplant? What a marvelous courageous testimony! You are all in my prayers for comfort, strength, and peace.

Ken, Ivetta, Barry and Mindy:
So sorry to learn of Amy's death. Have many good memories of time spent with your kids -- in your home and at church. Rejoicing that Amy is in heaven -- maybe she and Lucinda have gotten together. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Remember God is holding you tight in the palm of His hand.

Heard about Amy from Mom & Dad and wanted to send you all a message to express our sympathy. I still see her as a little bouncy girl with that silly giggle! Also remember the crazy trip to the ER when she crashed into the fence-maybe that is why she went into nursing! Our family will be lifting our prayers to our Lord for you all, love, Teresa

I am so sorry about all your loss!!! Amy was always a super sweet girl and will be greatly missed! So sorry we aren't going to be able to make it back back to Iowa for the services!! We will be there in spirit and you will be continually praying for you!!
