Robert Ferren

Robert C. Ferren, Sr., 92, died Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Ramsey Village. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Robert was born January 20, 1915 in Des Moines. He was a self employed carpenter and had his own construction business for many years. Robert was a member of the Acanthus Masonic Lodge.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Arleen; son Robert (Anita) Ferren, Jr. of Runnells; two daughters, Janice (Jerry) DeGan of Des Moines and Pamela (J.C.) Manuele of Denver, CO; brother, Frank Ferren of Des Moines; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
