Loa "Agnes" Fuqua

Agnes Fuqua, 97, of Westview Care Center, Indianola went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at the care center. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 4th at 1:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Agnes was born November 9, 1908 in Osceola, Iowa to William Edward and Edith Marie Gilbert Gharett. She worked as an Ob Tech at Des Moines General Hospital for 12 years. Agnes enjoyed crocheting, bowling and swimming.
She is survived by one daughter, Edie Schager, one son, Clarence “Dick” and his wife Faye Fuqua, four sisters, Alice Appleby of Bettendorf, Mildred Edmund and Oma Redden both of Florida, and Mary Marrit of Davenport; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren (one on the way) and four step-grandchildren.
Agnes was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Howard Fuqua and two sons, Robert and Craig.
Agnes was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
