June V. Manriques

June V. Manriques, 88, died on May 20, 2010 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

June was born June 20, 1921 to William and Nancy Cowan in Ottumwa. She spent her life raising and caring for her family while helping her husband operate Ferdy’s Tap. June was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

June is survived by her children, Timothy Manriques and Nancy Phillips; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferdinand Manriques.

Memorial contributions may be given to Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House.
