Charles “Chuck” Paul Albrecht, 71, passed away May 19, 2010 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center of melanoma. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2010 at Bondurant Federated Church, 103 2nd St. SW in Bondurant.
Chuck was born May 30, 1938. He served in the Air National Guard. After his retirement, he worked during the summer at Adventureland Amusement Park and in the winter, he enjoyed traveling the “wide open road” and meeting new people. Chuck was an avid cyclist and loved riding in RAGBRAI. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and all sports.
Chuck is survived by his children, Scott (Wendy) Albrecht, Todd (Lori) Albrecht and Troy (Geri) Albrecht; grandchildren, Dylan, Keanan, Braeden, Delaney, Jonah and Hollis; and his siblings, John Albrecht and Judy Hilbert.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bondurant Federated Church in loving memory of Chuck, where he led weekly Bible study.

Wayne and I knew Chuck as our great neighbor at Lake Panorama. Unfortunately, when we moved to Rochester, we lost contact with him and although we tried to reconnect with him over the years, we were unsuccessful. It's ironic that he was in the Altoona area, our location before moving to the Lake. Please know that we have fond memories of your dad and shared alot of laughter!!! You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
