Sharon Wolfe, 64, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010 after a battle with cancer.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the funeral home.
Sharon worked at Central Life Assurance for 18 years and Union Park Health Services for 12 years.
Sharon is survived by her fiancé, Glenn Dudley; children, Debbie (Dan) Rivas and Danny (Trisha) Wolfe; grandchildren, Logan, Abby, Alex and Hailey; five brothers; three sisters; and her dog, Max.
She will be remembered by many for the strong woman she was. She wanted to say thank you to everyone who prayed for her and she will be with you always.
She was always there to lend a hand or a shoulder to cry on and for some she was their world. Sharon will be missed by many for the time that she unconditionally gave and will never be forgotten.

Deb and Dan, it's been ages and ages ago, but I saw the notice and wanted to drop a line to tell you how sorry I am about your mom. You were both just little yet when our lives crossed.
I know Sharon is in a better place and I hope she didn't suffer long. My sincere condolences and I truly hope your lives have been fulfilled throughout these many years.

I am so sorry to hear about your mother and grand mother. i worked with her at united park many years ago. She was such a sweet and funny woman and a heck of a worker. Please accept my condolences and my prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for the loss of this special woman. She was very strong, never complained, and to the end was a very strong person. I cherish the time we spent together the past months and wish I would have been there more for her. She loved her family very much and they all stood by her to the end. She was never alone and their support for her inspired me and I admire each of them. I know she will be missed greatly by all. I think in the last months Sharon has taught a lot of people what true friendship is - to let the past go and cherish the time you have, speak what you feel and never forget what life is all about. I love you, Sharon.

My loving thoughts and prayers go out to Glen, and her children and grandchildren,Sharon was my sister, although I grew up most of my life not knowing that she was my sister, I loved her. She is now an angel walking around heaven with our siblings and father. I Love you Sis, until we meet again, Rest in Peace beautiful lady..

Danny and Debbie : I am truly sorry for you lost. I loved your mother and I know she felt the same way. I know you are hurting teriblely now and there is nothing anyone can say to take the hurt away. But It will get easier in time. I will miss your mom too. She was a one of a kind person. She alway said what was on her mind. She was alway there for me. She was my Best Friend and I will never forget her. You two are the luckest people in the world to have her for your mom. I did try to get a hold of you Debbie a few times to see if it was ok to come up. There was a sign on the door the last time Sherry and I came up saying she didn't want vistors. That's why we didn't come up again. I miss her alot. Just remember you have your memories to remember her by.She will alway be with us all. Love you both. Wannette gale

Glen, Debbie and Danny - my thoughts and prayers continue to be with you during this difficult time. Sharon and I had been friends for many, many years - and then lost touch after she left Central Life. I was surprised when she called me during the Christmas Holiday to say hello and it was nice to talk for awhile. She didn't mention that she was ill - it wasn't until mid-January that I found out about her diagnosis. It was then that we truly reconnected and for that I will be forever grateful. We spent severeal hours together over the past few months talking about old times, all of you and how much she loved you, our friendship and her illness. Sometimes we didn't even talk - we just sat there and held hands. Silence can be uncomfortable - but it wasn't with Sharon. She was an exceptionally strong, trusting and faithful woman during this journey she endured. I thank you for allowing me to visit her at Hospice - even during the times when she was really too tired and ill for visitors. She will always be in my heart and I will remmeber her as a dear friend. She is a role model for all of us as we face the end of life as we know it on this earth. My love - Kathy
