Robert (Bob) L. Morrow, 80, was born July 26, 1929 to Oscar and Bertha Morrow in Murry, IA. He passed away May 12, 2010. He was a Navy Veteran in the Korean War. He worked for the city of Des Moines, Parks Department, as an equipment operator for 35 years, retiring in 1991.
He leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Nancy A. Morrow; three sons, John (Tammy) Morrow, Steve Morrow, and Tom (Martha) Morrow; four granddaughters, and one great-granddaughter.
Bob loved camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He will be missed.
Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 14, 2010 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Ave, Des Moines. Friends may visit with family from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Robert.

Family of Bob Morrow,
Each of you have our deepest sympathy at this very difficult time. May the love you share, for Bob and for each other, bring you comfort and peace.
What a good man he was! (And an awesome cook!) I have so many great memories of Bob...especially of him laughing so hard his eyes would water. I always felt that he treated me like I was his own daughter. Bob will always be remembered by me as "one of the nicest guys" you could ever know.
Hold on tightly to your memories and Bob will always & forever be with you in your heart.

Love is stronger than death even though it can't stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love. It can't take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death.
